la Barbecue - Once an upstart BBQ food truck in the Austin scene, now a household name, the people at la Barbecue come from BBQ dynasties (Mueller & Franklin's), so brilliance is in its DNA.

Kerlin - One of the newer arrivals on the Austin scene, Kerlin was opened by Arizona transplants (so it's OBVIOUSLY good), and in no time found its way to the top of the BBQ charts, which doesn't come easily around these parts.

Valentinas - Founded by the youngest female pitmaster in the U.S., this South Austin (aka where Nina & Scott live) TexMex|BBQ spot is working its way to stealing the mantle of "the standard."
